Medina High School presents Showtime 2017 - Unify

The Medina High School Choral Music Department continuing its over 45 year tradition, will present Showtime on Friday, May 12, and Saturday, May 13. Showtime features high-quality, professionally choreographed performances from all six MHS choirs and various student ensembles and soloists, accompanied by a student instrumental combo.

 

This year’s show, with the theme of “Unify,” will feature classic songs such as “Listen to the Music,” “Eye of the Tiger,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” theater music including “For Good” and “A Musical,” and popular selections from performers such as Britney Spears and Andra Day. The cast of 250 high school performers will join forces with an experienced production staff including Tom Bonezzi, Shawn Eck, Katie Peyton, Christina Rueger, Ed Schmuhl, Michael Sferro, and Tyler Skidmore. Each year, this show is widely attended by families, students, and community members. Audience members are encouraged to purchase tickets early.

 

Shows are presented on May 12 (Friday) at 7:30 pm, and May 13 (Saturday) at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm at the Medina Performing Arts Center, 851 Weymouth Rd., Medina. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door and from the PAC Box Office by calling 330-636-3400. Tickets may also be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/d/oh--medina/showtime/…. The dress rehearsal on Thursday, May 11, at 4 pm is open to Medina senior citizens without charge.
