During the regular meeting of the Medina City Schools Board of Education on Monday, April 17, the Board approved a new three-year contract for Treasurer David Chambers. His new contract will run from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2020.
Chambers has been with the district since 2014. Under his previous contract, he received a base salary of $100,918. The contract also allowed for thirteen additional days bringing the value of the former agreement to $106,815. Chambers’ new contract will be for a three-year period commencing on August 1, 2017 ending on July 31, 2020 with a total annual salary of $110,385 which now includes the thirteen days which had previously been paid out separately.
“We are happy to have Mr. Chambers with us for another three years. As a Board, we have been very pleased with his work and the strides made in the past three years,” said Board President, Doug Eastwood.
