• The Medina Community Police Activity League (MCPAL) meets at Fenn twice a week after school. The MCPAL program brings youth under the supervision and positive influence of law enforcement, with the hope that young people will develop strong, positive attitudes towards officers and be more likely to respect the laws that officers enforce. By using athletic, recreational, and educational activities, MCPAL aims to give students an opportunity to have fun in a safe, caring environment. The program is geared towards 3rd to 5th graders, and is limited to approximately 25 students. Besides activities at school, such as basketball, dodgeball, and art, MCPAL sponsors field trips to places such as the Great Lakes Science Center, the Akron Rubber Ducks baseball games, and more. There is no cost to participate.

Signups begin in late August or early September.  There are typically 2 sessions, a fall and a late winter/spring session and students can pick which session works best for their schedules.
