Tina Cassidy has worked in the Medina City School District since 1996. Prior to joining the Department of Educational Services as the Primary Curriculum Coordinator, she served as a 4th Grade Teacher, a Reading Intervention Teacher and Principal of Blake Elementary. Tina now coordinates the curricular standards and materials for Pre-K through 5th Grade. She helps with organizing professional development for the District. Tina coordinates Title I programming, the Resident Educator Committee, the All Day Kindergarten Program and the District Leadership Team.  

Tina earned her BA in elementary education from John Carroll University, an MA from Cleveland State in Curriculum & Instruction and an MA in Administration from Akron University. Tina’s certifications include Grades 1-8; Reading K-12; Gifted K-12; Principal K-8; and Superintendent.

Tina and her husband Tim live in Medina with their 2 children. The whole family are proud Bees!
