Helping Hands Preschool is an integrated preschool program.  The program provides mandated preschool services to children 3 to 5 years of age with disabilities and offers a developmentally appropriate preschool experience for a selected number of typical peers.

No more than twelve children are enrolled in the classroom during any one session.  Each classroom provides an integrated balance of children with disabilities and their typically developing peers.  One teacher and one classroom assistant are in each of the six classrooms currently in operation.  Additional staff support may also be provided based on student needs.

All public school districts are required to locate, identify, evaluate, and provide free and appropriate education to children ages 3 to 5 years of age who have been determined to have a disability.

    REFERRAL INFORMATION
