Our Curriculum Adoption Process
Providing quality and effective instructional materials that are well aligned to Ohio’s Learning Standards and Medina City School’s Instructional Philosophy is crucial to our success as an excellent and world-class school district. The process of curriculum revision, and materials selection, for adoption must be well planned and be completed on an ongoing cycle. This revision occurs on a 6-year cycle as shown below and involves teachers, administrators, and parent feedback as part of the adoption process.
