Aaron Sable, Superintendent, Medina City Schools
Public education is the foundation of strong communities and bright futures. At Medina City Schools, we believe our role extends beyond academics—we are shaping respectful citizens, responsible decision makers, resilient learners, and innovative problem solvers. These qualities, outlined in our Portrait of a Bee, guide everything we do.
As superintendent, I’m committed to ensuring each student receives a rigorous, meaningful education that prepares them for success in college, careers, and life. But just as important is fostering pride—in our schools, our community, and in one another. Our students thrive when we work together to create a culture of hope, belonging, and empowerment.
Leadership, for me, is both personal and purposeful. As a father, I’ve seen firsthand the power of public education—my children are products of it, and their growth reinforces my belief in the work we do every day. I value every opportunity to spend time with them—traveling, exploring, learning, and growing together. They remind me of the responsibility we carry to shape schools that truly serve all students.
I also believe in leading leaders and in the strength of local control. Our schools are most effective when they reflect the values of the communities they serve, guided by locally elected boards and empowered educators. That’s why the Portrait of a Bee is so central to our mission—it’s not just a framework for student success, but a reflection of what our community believes matters most.
Thank you for being a part of Medina City Schools. Together, we are building something extraordinary—for our kids, our community, and our future.
