Medina High School Art Club Participates in Gingerbread House Contest During Candlelight Walk

Students in the Art Club at Medina High School shared their talent creating a replica of the Gazebo out of gingerbread entering their masterpiece into the 10 Towns Fellowship House Tour of Gingerbread Homes and Miniature Villages.  All of the entries were on display over Candlelight Weekend beginning on Friday, November 19 through Saturday, November 20, 2021.  Each of the students hand-painted one panel that was integrated into the design of the Gazebo.  Entries had the opportunity to win first, second, or third place prizes with winners announced on Saturday, November 20.  The Medina High School Art Club received a trophy for their second-place entry. 

 

The Gingerbread House Choice Award Contest raised over $1,100 to benefit the Women’s Shelter and YAHAB, a 501(c)3 devoted to providing necessities to people in need.
