Mrs. Lavdas, principal at H.G. Blake Elementary, has spent her entire career in education with Medina City Schools. She began in 1998 teaching seventh grade science and later eighth grade language arts at Claggett Middle School.  In 2009, she made the move to A.I. Root Middle School as associate principal. In 2012, she became principal at H.G. Blake Elementary. 

Mrs. Lavdas resides in Brunswick with her husband, two sons (ages 15 and 17), and a dog, Charlotte. In her free time, she enjoys cheering her sons on in their various sporting and musical interests, as well as finding time to read, both professionally and personally - a favorite activity.
