Dear Blake Families,

It’s time to start a brand new year! We are so proud that you have entrusted your child to us, and we promise to do our best to provide the best possible education. When we reflect on last year’s accomplishments, we realize the academic successes of our students, with the support of our teachers and staff, have put H.G. Blake Elementary on a path toward greatness.

This year we will help your child practice the 3 R's (Ready, Respectful, and Responsible) in all aspects of their lives, including home.  We will accomplish this through our use of a building- wide PBIS framework that teaches positive behavior expections through a  positive acknowledgement system of PBIS points. Our dedicated staff will teach them to find the leader in themselves and take responsibility for their own learning and their actions. We know we cannot do this alone, however. Together we form a strong partnership to ensure that all H.G. Blake students receive an exceptional education. I encourage you to be an active participant in your child’s education. We invite you to attend monthly PTO meetings, volunteer in classrooms, attend school events, or just stay current by visiting our website regularly and reading monthly newsletters. Together, we can make this a successful year of learning for your child.
