STePS

STePS is an acronym for: Students, Teachers, Parents, Support. We serve as a liaison between students, staff and parents at A.I. Root Middle School.
STePS supports many activities throughout the year and raises funds for student and staff development and success. To raise funds for A.I. Root Middle School, STePS promotes Box Tops, SpiritWear, Dine to Donate and school dance projects. The activities that STePS supports and staffs through volunteers include: the Halloween Dance, Staff Appreciation dinners, 100% Homework Club and the Eighth Grade Luau.
STePS gives back by donating a basket to After Prom each year, presenting scholarships to seniors at Medina High School, framing art to be hung in the halls of Root, purchasing incentives for positive student behavior, teacher mini grants, purchasing equipment for the Maker Space and more as needed.
