Mr. Brian Condit-Principal

Brian Condit, Claggett Principal, has spent his entire teaching career in Medina City Schools.  He joined Heritage Elementary in 2001.  Mr. Condit spent seven years at Heritage teaching second grade for four years and third grade for three years.  Mr. Condit was principal of Ella Canavan from 2009-2023.  He is excited to join the Claggett Staff. 

He is a proud graduate of Mount Union College where he earned his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education in 2001.  In 2005, he earned his Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Akron.  In 2013, he earned his Superintendent license from Kent State University.

Mr. Condit lives in Medina with his wife and three children.  His wife is a first grade teacher at Sidney Fenn Elementary.  Mr. Condit’s children attend Claggett Middle School and Medina High School.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, watching his kids in their various activities and cheering on the Buckeyes!  The Condits are proud to be Medina Bees!

Ms. Stephanie Berry-Associate Principal

Stephanie Berry, associate principal, Claggett Middle School, joins the administrative staff from Parma City Schools, where she most recently held the position of assistant principal at Parma Senior High School.  Stephanie began her career in education as a middle school intervention teacher and has been a special education supervisor at the middle school level.  She has also served as the eighth-grade class principal at Parma.  Stephanie has a strong background in special education, Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS), Restorative Discipline Practices, and Trauma Informed Care.  Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science as an intervention specialist from Cleveland State University in 2005 and her Master of Arts in School Leadership from Baldwin Wallace in 2013.

Mrs. Kim Hallock-Principal on Assignment

Kim Hallock, principal on assignment, is a graduate of Medina High School.  She began her teaching career in 1997 as a first-grade teacher at Ella Canavan Elementary.  She received the Medina City Schools Excellence in Teaching Award in 2002.   In 2003, she became a part-time educational consultant through Tri-County Educational Service Center.  This allowed her the opportunity to provide professional development and hands-on support in an urban school that had been designated Academic Emergency per ODE.  This experience helped shape her philosophy concerning academic and behavioral success for all students.
 
She returned to Medina City Schools in 2008 as a reading intervention teacher at Canavan and then went to Garfield Elementary in 2009.  In January 2012, Kim was an administrative intern between Northrop and Fenn Elementary Schools.
 
Kim most recently served as the principal of Eliza Northrop Elementary since 2012.  She was awarded Medina City Schools' first "Leading the Way" award in 2017 to recognize her leadership, work ethic, and vision.  Northrop has done extensive work with PBIS, having earned state recognition for the past eight years. 
 
Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Miami University in 1996.  In 2000, she earned her Master of Science in Educational Administration from The University of Akron.
