Jim Tighe has been with the Medina City Police Department since 2009. During my time with the department, I have served as a county SWAT team member, firearms instructor, Taser instructor, field training officer, and a member of the bike unit. I live in Medina with my wife and two kids, who attend Medina Schools. When I’m not at work, I enjoy working outside and going to my children’s sporting events. I’m excited to be in my new role as SRO at Claggett! I hope to show the students of Claggett an example of a police officer that humanizes our role while at the same time building trust and respect.
