Officer Nick MacLarren, was hired by the Medina Police Department in 2013.  He was a graduate of the Kent State Police Academy and worked for a short time as a reserve deputy for the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department. Officer MacLarren became a School Resource Officer in 2016 handling the five city elementary schools. He also teaches D.A.R.E. to the 5^th grade students alongside Officer David Pinkas of the Montville Police Department. In his free time, he enjoys watching sporting activities and being outdoors with his wife and daughter.
