    Junior Lucinda Posner is engaging in her conversations, purposeful in leadership, and focused on her studies.  She easily relates to her peers, whether helping them with math, or to elementary students through HUDDLE, and understands the impact her interactions can have.  Her class schedule consists of Honors and Advance Placement courses.  Lucinda earned the MHS Academic Distinction Award Summa Cum Laude her freshman and sophomore years. Lucinda is a member of National Honor Society, HUDDLE, Key Club, a member of the 22-23 MHS Principal’s Advisory Board, and is co-president of Spanish Club.  She is also a member of the MHS choir and is on a competitive dance team.  She volunteers in the MHS Writing Studio as a peer tutor and works at Lemonberry Frozen Yogurt.  She plans on attending university, possibly studying Political Science/International Law.  Lucinda is the daughter of David and Catherine Posner.

    Junior Elliot Thompson is one of those students who daily reminds teachers why they became a teacher.  He can impress, amuse, and inspire all within a single interaction.  He has the unique ability to exude humility and pride at the same time.  Elliot’s class schedule consists of Honors and Advance Placement courses.  He earned the MHS Academic Distinction Award Magna Cum Laude his freshman and sophomore year.  Eliot is a member of National Honor Society, HUDDLE, Model UN Vice President, and a member of the 22-23 MHS Principal’s Advisory Board.  Elliot is MHS Debate Elliot is an MHS Debate Team member who qualified for the June National Debate Championship in Congressional Debate.  Elliot is a member of the Varsity Golf Team, and is the Team Captain of Medina Hockey Club.  He volunteers at his church, and for the Strongsville Youth Hockey as a referee.  He referees for the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League.  Elliot plans on attending university, potentially studying business/pre-law.  Elliot is the son of David and Sandra Thompson.
