    Monica Horschler will catch your attention with her academic excellence, positive attitude and creative mindset.  Her enthusiasm for being present in the moment is contagious.  Monica’s leadership skills are balanced with patience and empathy.  Her class schedule has consisted of College Credit Plus, Advanced Placement, and Honors courses.  Monica has earned the MHS Academic Distinction Award Summa Cum Laude her junior, sophomore and freshman years. Monica is a member of the MHS National Honor Society, HUDDLE, Copresident of the Civil Discourse Club, Outreach Coordinator for the American Sign Language Club, and a four year member of the Theater/Drama Club, currently serving as Sound Crew Lead for the Fall Play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.  She is a baritone line leader for the Medina Musical Bees.  Monica plays the euphonium in Concert Band and is a Brass Representative.  Monica has been a Girl Scout for the past 13 years.  She has been a Program Aid since 6th grade, planning and running sessions for Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio Highland Day Camp.  Monica has volunteered in the Joyce B. Ebner Tutoring Center as a peer tutor.  Monica plans on attending college to double major in psychology and sound design.  Monica is the daughter of Richard and Leslie Horschler.

     

    Wyatt McRitchie is respectful, outgoing, and has an enthusiastic attitude toward learning.  He is a great communicator and group leader, accepting of all with a kindness and courteous humility.   He sets the example each and every day as one of Medina’s best.  Wyatt’s class schedule has consisted of Advanced Placement, Honors, and College Credit Plus courses.  He has earned the MHS Academic Distinction Award Summa Cum Laude his junior, sophomore, and freshman years.  Wyatt is a member of National Honor Society, HUDDLE, Fellowship of Christian Students, Outdoors Club, and Ohio Math League.  He has played the trombone in the MHS Concert Band for the past three years.  He is a member of the MHS Cross Country Team and of the MHS Varsity Tennis Team.  Wyatt volunteers regularly at his church during the worship services.  Wyatt works at Easy Graphics, a technology installation company.  After graduation, he plans on attending college majoring in economics and minoring in political science.  Wyatt is the son of Dale and Kristin McRitchie.
