Meadow Firem is generous with time, always willing to help staff and students with her caring and confident personality. She always strives for more, continuously raising her own standards, to do her very best whether it be in the classroom, on the volleyball court, or student organizations. Her class schedule has consisted of College Credit Plus and Advanced Placement courses. Meadow has earned the MHS Academic Distinction Award Summa Cum Laude her junior, sophomore and freshman years. She is also an AP Scholar recipient.
Meadow is Vice President of the MHS National Honor Society, Student Council, President of Key Club, Vice President of Spanish Club, a member of Student Council, HUDDLE, the Principal Advisory Team and the Ohio Association of Student Leaders. She also has played club Volleyball for the past seven years, and plays piano. Meadow is a volunteer in the Joyce B. Ebner Tutoring Center as a peer tutor. She also volunteers for SPARK Medina, who engages youth, families, and Medina nonprofit partners with meaningful service learning pportunities to expand awareness, engagement, & commitment to community. Meadow works at Taste of Excellence - Medina, and Nutrient Rich Life. Meadow plans on attending college to student international business, and minoring in Spanish and physics. Meadow is the daughter of Charles and Diana Firem.
Caleb Sundermeier is an inquisitive and empathetic student who completely engages with MHS staff and his peers. He is always present in the moment, and has the courage to address hard issues. He strikes a balance in his life with a great sense of humor, and a heart to serve. Caleb’s class schedule has consisted of Advanced Placement, Honors, and College Credit Plus courses. He has earned the MHS Academic Distinction Award Summa Cum Laude his junior, sophomore, and freshman years. Caleb is a member of National Honor Society, Hope Squad, Jr. Hope Squad, HUDDLE, is a main leader for Fellowship of Christian Students, and a member of Link Crew, Outdoor Club and Spanish Club. He plays Upright Bass for the Medina High School Sinfonietta Orchestra. He is a disc/javelin thrower for the MHS Track and Field Team. Caleb volunteers in the Joyce B. Ebner Tutoring Center as a peer tutor, and tutors at AI Root Middle School. He volunteers at Grace Church - Medina East with Kids Ministry. He also volunteers at Samaritan Care, helps with Encore Events, and has been a National Inventor Camp Invention counselor for the past three years. After graduation, he plans on attending Liberty University to study Education, focusing on upper elementary/middle school grades. Caleb is the son of Steven and Sarah Sundermeier.
