Dr. Elisa Tedona
Elisa Tedona is a New Jersey native where she grew up playing sports. The majority of her professional career was spent in Virginia where she worked as an algebra teacher, basketball coach, and track coach, prior to working her way into administration as associate principal of a large high school in Chesterfield County.
Elisa is a James Madison University graduate where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She also received her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Richmond, and is currently finishing her PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University. Elisa is a lifelong learner and believes that knowledge opens the door to many opportunities.
Elisa believes in turning what people view as impossible into reality. Every student is capable of learning, growing, and excelling if they feel safe, supported, and cared for. It is Elisa’s goal that all students enjoy their time at MHS and leave our school better than they came.
