Dr. Elisa Tedona

Elisa Tedona is a New Jersey native who grew up playing sports. Most of her professional career was spent in Virginia, where she worked as an algebra teacher, basketball coach, and track coach before working her way into administration as associate principal of a large high school in Chesterfield County.

When Elisa came to Ohio, she worked as an administrator for Columbus City Schools prior to joining the Medina City School District as principal of Medina High School.

Elisa is a James Madison University graduate, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She also received her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Richmond and her PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University. Elisa is a lifelong learner who believes knowledge opens the door to many opportunities.

Elisa believes in turning what people view as impossible into reality. Every student is capable of learning, growing, and excelling if they feel safe, supported, and cared for. Elisa’s goal is that all students enjoy their time at MHS and leave our school better than they came.
