Jarrod Fry, a 1994 graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, began his television career at WSYX, the ABC affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. He then made the move to Cleveland in 1995 and began work at WOIO/WUAB 19 and 43 in news and would later become a sports producer.

Jarrod has been with MedinaTV since 1999 and was excited at the opportunity to come to Medina and operate the city’s two television stations. Coverage on MedinaTV channel 201 features sports, concerts, and school board meetings. “Working with the wonderful staff, students, and faculty is one of the most rewarding things with my job,” said Fry. “Every year, the students amaze me with their talent, attitude, and genuine caring personalities. It makes my job very rewarding.”

MedinaTV allows residents to stay in touch with everything going on in the district even if they cannot attend all of the activities. Programs are available on Channel 201 and on MedinaTV’s website through PEG Central so residents can watch programming at their convenience.
