The mission of the Medina City Schools Transportation Department in partnership with administration, staff and community is to provide safe transportation in an efficient and responsible manner to the students of the Medina City Schools to ensure them ample opportunity to take full advantage of the educational curriculum and co-curricular programs while at the same time through the spirit of cooperation establish a positive environment in which to learn and grow.
Did You Know?
- The Medina City School District is 48 square miles and is made up of the City of Medina, Medina Township, Montville Township and Lafayette Township.
- The Transportation Department operates 60 school buses and 4 auxiliary vehicles on 48 routes that transport over 4,500 students to 23 different locations on a daily basis.
- District buses travel over 600,000 miles per year and use approximately 75,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
