Director of Community Relations

Amy Busby has been a resident of Medina for more than 25 years. She has been with the Medina City School District since 2011.  Amy has a diverse background in sales and marketing as well as purchasing.  She is a past Medina City Schools Foundation Board Member and continues to serve on the Foundation Board as an ex-officio member.  She is a former volunteer with Kids First Medina (formerly known as Friends of Medina City Schools), working on several levy campaigns.  She currently serves on the Main Street Medina Board, holding the executive committee position of secretary, and is a member of the Medina Women's Network.  Amy is a recent graduate of Leadership Medina County's LEAD Institute as part of the Class of 2023.  She continues to work on programming for LEAD.

A native of Wisconsin, Amy studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She believes that effective communication is the key to strong schools and a strong community.
