Mrs. Shayna Samosky

Mrs. Shayna Samosky has served the Medina City School District since 2001 as a classroom teacher, math coach, gifted intervention specialist and as the district gifted coordinator.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and her Master of Science degree in educational administration from the University of Akron.  Through Kent State University, Mrs. Samosky obtained her gifted endorsement and completed her coursework to earn her principal's license through Ashland Univeristy.  As a classroom teacher, she was selected as a Martha Holden Jennings Scholar in 2005 and for Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2006 and 2007.

 

As a life-long resident of Medina County, Samosky is excited to continue to grow challenging opportunties for students in Medina City Schools.   She resides with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending quality time with them.
